Our beautiful Normandy Farmhouse is ideal for hosting your own celebration with family or friends. From 30th, 40th or 50th birthdays to special anniversaries, Golden Weddings and 80th birthdays, La Germainiere is the perfect place for a big get together, no matter the season.
Outdoor celebrations
The front terrace provides a convenient space for dining or casually sipping drinks with friends or family. The huge lawn area to the side of the property offers plenty of space for little ones to run around safely, as the pool area is fully gated.
Pool parties
The magnificent 10m x 5m heated pool is a special focal point at La Germainiere. With plenty of sun loungers, plus a table and chairs that offers shade under the parasol, the whole family is sure to enjoy some relaxing time poolside.
Dining together
The huge dining table seats up to 14 people, so everyone can enjoy a fine celebratory meal together. If you and your family and friends love seafood, it is easy to pre order a huge seafood platter from nearby supermarkets which are absolutely magnificent with crab or lobster, oysters, langoustines and prawns.
Let someone else do the cooking
We can suggest local restaurants for a memorable evening celebration or some that will provide home catering services or a chef that will cook for you at home. There are many patisseries locally that can provide amazing desserts with a couple of days notice. The artisan boulangerie Le Fournil de L’Abbaye in Hambye has an unbelievable choice.
Group outings on your doorstep

Christmas, New Year & winter
The farmhouse is a great getaway in winter, too. The fireplace warms up the atmosphere in the lounge, and the local area looks simply stunning under a dusting of snow. Don’t forget to take a trip out to the local Christmas markets, as well.
