We have owned this house for several years and still love its tranquil rural setting. Set amongst its own fields at the end of a ½ mile private drive, it is the most lovely relaxing holiday retreat.

Built some 300 years ago it has enormous character with old beams, massive stone walls and a huge Normandy fireplace. The South facing terrace catches the sun all day and is the ideal spot to enjoy an evening drink listening to the cicadas.

It is a pretty ten minute walk to the village of Grimesnil, and an excellent bar/restaurant where steaks are cooked over an open fire.

The magnificent 10m x 5m private heated swimming pool is situated in a peaceful setting and provides the perfect place to relax in the sun. There are lovely views over the wooded valley below.
