We have owned this house for several years and still love its tranquil rural setting. Set amongst its own fields at the end of a 1/2 mile private drive, it is the most lovely holiday house.

Built some 300 years ago it has enormous character with old beams, massive stone walls and a huge Normandy fireplace. It is our home and furnished and equipped accordingly.

The magnificent 10m x 5m heated swimming pool is situated in a lovely peaceful setting and is very private. Sunloungers and poolside furniture are provided. The poolside terrace faces south, it traps the sun for most of the day, and has lovely views over the wooded valley below.

For peace of mind, the pool is fenced and lockable. There is also an alarm which can be set if the pool is left unattended. The pool is open from May to the end of October and is exclusive to La Germainiere.

6 bedrooms, one en suite, two additional bathrooms. Tiled kitchen (dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave). Breakfast area with circular oak table. Lovely dining room. Large lounge. Cloakroom w/c. Garage with table tennis. South facing patio with vine covered dining area. Garden furniture and barbecue. There are lots of beach games and 5 old bicycles that you are welcome to use.

Prices include all heating, hot water, electricity and logs. Discounts available for parties of 4 or less and also for short breaks. Changeover day is Friday. Duvets and pillows are provided. Bed linen and towels are available for hire. Non-smokers preferred.
